Job Purpose: The Flight Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections and evaluations of aircraft, flight operations, and related systems to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and reliability of flight operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections of aircraft, flight instruments, and operational procedures.
Evaluate maintenance records, flight logs, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct in-flight inspections and tests to assess aircraft performance and safety.
Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with maintenance teams, pilots, and regulatory authorities to address safety concerns.
Stay updated on changes in aviation regulations and best practices.
Participate in safety audits and investigations as required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
Valid pilot’s license or relevant aviation certification.
Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft inspection, maintenance, or flight operations.
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced certifications in aircraft inspection or safety (e.g., Certified Flight Instructor, Airframe and Powerplant License).
Experience with a variety of aircraft types and avionics systems.
Previous experience working with regulatory agencies.
Proficiency in aviation inspection software and reporting tools.
