A Sales Manager is responsible for leading and guiding a team of salespeople in an organization. They set sales goals & quotas, build a sales plan, analyze data, assign sales training and territories, mentor the members of their sales team, and are involved in the hiring and firing process. A Sales Manager also oversees the entire sales process which includes maintaining customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting sales targets.
