Job Purpose: The Project Manager oversees the successful delivery of projects by coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring project objectives are met. This position focuses on project execution and stakeholder communication without direct managerial reporting responsibilities over team members.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise to ensure timely delivery.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and upper management.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven working experience as a project manager in a relevant industry.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
Experience working in a matrix or non-hierarchical team structure.
